New 16GB KODAK SDHC High-Speed card designed for capturing video and photographs
SYDNEY, Australia, 6th January 2009 - Lexar Media, a leading global provider of memory products for digital media, today extended its KODAK-branded memory card range with the introduction of the 16GB KODAK Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) High-Speed Card.
The new KODAK card is designed to capture and store large volumes of high-definition video and fast-action photographs when used with SDHC-enabled digital video and point-and-shoot cameras.
The 16GB KODAK SDHC High-Speed Card is speed-rated at 60x, capable of minimum sustained read and write speeds of 9MB per second for capturing full motion video without interruption.
“As more point-and-shoot digital cameras include advanced features such as HD video recording and rapid-fire picture-taking, a greater number of photographers demand a memory card that is fast enough to enable them to take advantage of their new camera’s technology,” said Manisha Sharma, director of product marketing, Lexar. “The KODAK SDHC High-Speed Card is an excellent choice for not only KODAK cameras, but all SDHC-compatible digital cameras. The strength of the KODAK brand paired with Lexar’s high-speed, high-capacity capabilities enables users of the card to experience the enhanced benefits of today’s digital cameras.”
The 16GB KODAK SDHC High-Speed Card includes a limited lifetime warranty and 24-hour customer support from Lexar. For more information about the 16GB KODAK SDHC High-Speed Card, please visit www.lexar.com/au.
