Sydney, 20 March 2009 – Tumbleweed® Communications Corp., now part of Axway Inc. and an industry leader in managed file transfer, email security, today confirmed Dr. Taher Elgamal will be a keynote speaker at the AusCERT2009 Asia Pacific Information Security Conference being held at the Gold Coast from 17 – 22 May 2009.
Dr Elgamal is one of the world’s leading experts in computer, network and information security. He is recognized in the industry as the 'inventor' of SSL. Dr Elgamal invented several industry and government standards in data security and digital signatures area, including the DSS government standard for digital signatures. Dr. Elgamal has public company board experience with RSA Security, hi/fn, Phoenix Technology and Tumbleweed.
He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University and a B.S. in Computer Science from Cairo University.
He will be presenting on ‘Security for Multi-Enterprise’ during the conference and will be available for media interviews.
