Melbourne – 18 May 2009 – Sterling Commerce, an AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) company, today announced that Mondial Assistance Australia, a leading insurance and assistance provider, has selected Sterling Integrator (formally Gentran Integration Suite™) to streamline revenue collection and reporting processes across its business.
Mondial Assistance’s decision to deploy Sterling Integrator follows rapid growth which the company has achieved over the past five years, leading to the need to scale for its future systems requirements.
Mondial Assistance was seeking a solution to reduce costs to new clients and improve the efficiency of internal processes through the deployment of a reliable, automated solution.
Sterling Commerce won the five-way pitch based on its ability to execute successful local deployments, adherence to industry standards and Sterling Integrator’s ease of implementation. Other key factors included the high level of integration within the Sterling Integrator toolset itself and the product’s overall alignment with Mondial Assistance’s system requirements.
“Our objectives included finding a vendor with a strategic fit for our future requirements and a solution which would build a best practice approach to enterprise application integration,” said Will Riley, BI Manager, Information Services, Mondial Assistance.
“We also wanted to adopt an IT solution that could integrate rapidly rather than require extensive customisation. Sterling Commerce met all these requirements while Sterling Integrator had the additional benefit of robust, inherent security.”
Once fully deployed later this year, Sterling Integrator also will consolidate Mondial Assistance’s business-to-business processes in one platform. The single platform will support automated end-to-end data collection to enable seamless revenue collection and disbursement activities for Mondial Assistance’s clients and partners.
Sterling Commerce’s partner, e-CentricInnovations, will deploy the solution at Mondial Assistance providing services in architectural design, implementation, process definition, consulting and change management.
