Kroll Ontrack launches global data recovery program for Apple customers

Data recovery and legal technology provider Kroll Ontrack has launched a global Data Recovery Portal for Apple customers.

It's Ontrack Data Recovery services now includes a data recovery solution for Apple customers with Mac systems, servers, applications, files, operating systems as well as iPod and iPhone devices. By working directly with Apple’s Service Providers, the service is language-localised.

Service providers access a new, customised Web portal to register data recovery jobs for their customers in real time can immediately connect to data recovery specialists and engineers. Once the data recovery job is registered via the portal, customers receive automated updates directly from Kroll Ontrack.

The program also includes a recovery evaluation and report, 24 by 7 job tracking and access to engineers with extensive Apple recovery experience.

The release of the service is a good indication of Apple’s continuing gains in market share in the enterprise space.

Kroll Ontrack also recently launched an enhanced suite of data recovery technology for both MacMail and Microsoft Entourage email as well as data recovery capabilities for Apple Xsan 2 clustered file system for Mac OS X. “Apple Service Providers and users can now benefit from the 20 years of data recovery experience and extensive Apple expertise Kroll Ontrack has to offer,” said Kroll Ontrack general manager for Asia Pacific, Adrian Briscoe.

The company also offers a free initial consultation for customers experiencing a data loss.
