HP has launched a new high-performance security solution aimed at preventing breaches to converged infrastructure in both the physical and virtual space.
The HP TippingPoint Secure Virtualisation Framework (SVF) is a suite of products extending TippingPoint security protection from physical to virtual networks.
The company said in a statement that it saw the need to launch the solution after realising security threats are not only targeted at data centres and that network security will be increased and deployment complexity reduced.
The news comes days after HP announced it had bought music streaming service Melodeo.
