Commonwealth Bank says its services are back to normal after a connection failure left thousands of customers without access to cash.
The failure occurred about 6pm (AEDT) on Wednesday and left customers without access to ATMs, internet and phone banking, and EFTPOS services.
Services were back on line from about 10pm (AEDT).
The bank has blamed a network connection failure for the problem.
The CBA internet banking site malfunctioned in June this year.
The most recent issue occurred exactly one year after its NetBank glitch caused by an overdue running of a computer file.
