Internode has launched a rental program for its all-in-one FRITZ!Box broadband modem/router/VoIP basestations, and has dropped its prices across a range of FRITZ!Boxes.
The company is letting customers rent the 7270 router for $9.95 per month, the 7390 for $14.95 per month and the DECT phone handset for $4.95 per month on a 24-month contract.
Philip Dempster, Internode product manager, said in a statement that the company introduced its new rental program so it could keep up with the demand for “affordability and convenience” of broadband routers and hardware.
The FRITZ!Box router features an integrated ADSL2+ modem, an 802.11n Wi-Fi access point, VoIP and landline phone support with answering machine, DECT cordless phone-base station and USB file and print server.
The FRITZ!Box 7270 router is now available for $249, the 7390 router for $349 and the DECT handset for $109. The FRITZ!Box 7270 with FRITZ!F on DECT handset bundle has also dropped in price and is now $449, and the FRITZ!Box 7390 with FRITZ!F on DECT handset bundle is now $349.
