Billion has made a play for households connected to the National Broadband Network, launching two new Gigabit Ethernet routers with fibre WAN ports.
The new Billion BiPAC 7800VDOX and Billion 7800VDPX routers both offer dualband 802.11n wireless networking.
The IPv6-capable routers include integrated print servers and media streaming to DLNA compliant devices, as well as a USB port for adding networked storage.
Australian Billion distributor PCRange said that during tests the routers were "comfortably" able to receive 100Mbps downlink speeds from an NBN connection.
The BiPAC 7800VDOX has a recommended retail price of $249; the BiPAC 7800VDPX has an RRP of $229.
