VoIP and broadband retailer MyNetFone will buy CallStream in a deal expected to cost $600,000.
MyNetFone said it expects the purchase of the IP telephony company to add $1 million in revenue per annum. MyNetFone will migrate services currently delivered by CallStream to its Symbio voice network.
"This small acquisition is very important for MyNetFone, as it gives us a fabulous foundation in a very lucrative area of telephony within Australia, and we plan to use the benefits of our proprietary technology to aggressively build on that" MyNetFone CEO Rene Sugo said in a statement.
The VoIP company completed its acquisition of wholesale voice carrier Symbio Networks in February.
In July MyNetFone announced it had won a contract worth up to $20 million dollars to provide VoIP services to the Tasmanian government.
