TechWorld Forums goes live

Rodney Gedda is the former deputy editor of CIO and former editor of Techworld.

With everyone busy lining up for the iPhone 4, we thought we’d take the opportunity to launch the TechWorld Forums. That’s right, TechWorld has forums, woohoo!!

Log on at: http://www.techworld.com.au/forum/.

You do need to be a TechWorld member (free) to post. So sign up here if you haven’t already done so: http://www.techworld.com.au/signup

So far we have eight general interest topics ranging from social networking to development. They are:

  • Broadband
  • Careers
  • DevOps
  • Mobile
  • Open Source
  • Social Life
  • Startups
  • The Internet

These topics are not set in stone and could well be modified or added to in the future. In fact, I welcome suggestions for new topics relevant to IT professionals and enthusiasts.

While it is an open forum and there are no “rules” as such, the standard level of conduct for TechWorld is expected of forum posters.

There are plenty of ways to express an opinion without being profane. Any post containing obscene content will be removed. Thanks for being cool.

Post away!
