Business Analyst – Management Information System

Our client is seeking the services of an individual to perform the function of Analyst for a Task team, the individual selected will be required to produce the reports and analysis necessary for the task. The person is required to analyse data for operational reporting, attend the workshops, interview stakeholders, analyse the results and consolidate the data into a series of reports and options documents.
As the successful candidate, your duties will include:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the Capability Gap that is the focus of the Task
- Prepare for a Defence and or industry Stakeholder requirement elicitation workshops
- Assist in the running of workshops with Defence to refine the needs and Gap
- Assist in the running of workshops with Industry to elicit potential solution options to address the Gap
- Prepare reports from templates for submission to the Steering Committee
- Assist the Team Lead in preparation of an Options Report for the Sponsor
- Assist the Team Lead in preparation of a schedule (Solution Development Plan) to progress the task through the RPDE SG process
- Provide input to the Draft Capability Improvement plan
Other Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
- University Degree or relevant commercial experience
- 3+ year relevant IT work experience
