THE COMPANY
As the successful candidate, you will be working for an organisation that holds strong strategic vendor partnerships with Cisco, Nortel and Microsoft. Specialising in voice, data and unified communications, this company prides itself on best practice in delivering and deploying enterprise wide infrastructure projects. Levering off these long-term established relationships, the role will suit a dynamic and highly motivated individual.

THE POSITION
SO, what’s in it for you I hear you ask? This role reports directly to the CEO, providing you with a flat management structure and autonomy to develop high level strategic plans. The position requires you to develop and nurture existing partnerships with major vendors & SI companies to identify and promote new service/product offerings. If you are a mover and shaker with a strong strategic passion then this role is ideal for you. You will also be working closely with the sales executives and professional services division to ensure successful project delivery. You will also be involved in strategic joint marketing campaigns with companies such as Microsoft and Cisco – this in turn will allow you to leverage off their client portfolio and identify new business opportunities.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
This position would suit anyone working in a similar role within a consulting or vendor organisation. Our client is seeking an all rounder with skills in strategic channel management, business development and consulting within the infrastructure space.

To be considered for the role you will require the following skills/experience:
1. 5+ years experience as a Channel/Partner Manager within a consulting or vendor environment
2. Consulting experience with particular experience in infrastructure based projects (voice, data and unified communications is preferred)
3. Ability to develop C-level relationships and work with senior management to deliver enterprise level projects
4. Impeccable communication and presentation skills
5. Previous business development or account management experience (2-3 years)
6. Background in project management or managed services
7. JDI (just do it) attitude
