Our client is seeking the skills and experience of an experienced a Junior Account Manager with a proven track record in managing key federal government relationships and working within the Canberra market. THE POSITION:
As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue for one or a number of key accounts through the process of identifying, qualifying and executing the business opportunities. You will be accountable for:
• managing existing and new client relationships;
• sales forecasting and account plan development;
• identifying and managing proposal & tendering process;
• engaging with architects and engineers to provide a solution to clients;
• meeting and exceeding sales targets.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
Mandatory requirements include:
• Proven track record in an Account Manager or Sales role within the ICT industry
• Experience in exceeding sales targets
• Strong business acumen
• Ability to manage client relationships and provide exceptional customer service
• Impeccable communication skills
• Interpersonal skills: presentation, negotiation and ability to present solutions to a varied audience

Skills & experience required:
1. 3+ years in sales and account management experience in ICT sales
2. Experience in managing federal government accounts and knowledge of the federal government market
3. Impeccable communication and presentation skills
4. Ability to manage relationships and build rapport with a wide range of clients
