Seminars & Workshops

Among the key seminar sessions and workshops that will be hosted as part of Integrate2012 also includes:

InfoComm International Keynote – State of the Industry

Be among the first to preview the 2012 InfoComm Global Market Definition and Strategy Study (MDSS) and gain insight into key facts and figures on the Asia-Pacific region. Released in June 2012, the study reports on the size of the global pro-AV market, markets that are expanding and maturing, and worldwide trends. This keynote is free for guests who attend Integrate 2012.

InfoComm Super Tuesday – Net-Centric AV

Infocomm Super Tuesday will return to Integrate in 2012, with a focus on Net-Centric AV. This full day program, taking place on the opening day of the exhibition will cover an array of topics specifically focused on the AV industry. During this program, attendees will have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the evolving AV networking standards; the new challenges affected by Net-Centric requirements; and will also be presented with a number ofcase study examples examining how companies successfully manage converged audio visual system implementations. InfoComm Super Tuesday will cover thefollowing breakout topics:

- Emerging Standards and Their Impact on the Future of AV Networking

- Moving AV Distribution over to a "Network-Centric" Platform

- Converged AV Design and Implementation in Practice

- The Next Generation of Integrated Building Technology

InfoComm University Seminars

InfoComm’s University Seminars are ‘a la carte’ meaning participants may choose to attend any individual session. Presented by a number of industry veterans, attendees will have the opportunity to choose sessions covering an array of topics including: the changing nature of the AV industry; best practices, tips and hints for AV system commissioning; and the impact of the digital dividend on wireless audio systems.

Government Industry Conference – Collaboration & AV Asset Management Security

With traditional meeting rooms growing and developing into advanced collaboration rooms, the importance of implementing the correct and secure technology solutions continues to be a pivotal challenge for many organisations. The Government Industry Conference will examine how collaboration rooms are more than ‘telepresence’. It will explore where the worlds of 2D and 3D collide and how this is driving collaboration beyond passive participation to real-time interaction and knowledge sharing.

Secure environments feature an ever-growing quantity of AV/VC/IT assets, but many of these are not leveraging the full benefits of the Net-Centric era. Capabilities such as centralised fault tracking, reporting, preventative maintenance triggers, escalation and the like are not being realised due to limitations in the physical/policy realm.

The Future of Business Communications Conference

As more offices look to become “virtual”, Australian businesses are turning to collaborative communications technologies to connect with internal and external business partners and stakeholders. The Future of Business Communications Conference will look at the importance of good quality audio and visual technology and how businesses can harness and leverage the growing ‘virtual boardroom’ trend.
