OPERATIONS / SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER

The role we are currently recruiting for is a Senior Operations/Service Delivery Manager. One of the key responsibilities of this position is to offer full leadership and management to the infrastructure services team which currently has 8 people. This role will require you to manage all infrastructure & security projects within Asia Pacific to ensure all 1st, 2nd and 3rdline support is being carried out.

The company runs 100 windows 2000 and 5 UNIX Servers and you and your team will support 4 remote sites across Australia including the head office in Sydney.

You will also assist in managing business projects (which they have upto 16 running at any one time) as well as other operational/infrastructure projects that may be in the pipe line – hence strong organizational & time management skills are a prerequisite.

You will also be responsible for reporting and liaising with the US as this is where the head office is based – hence a little bit of flexibility is going to be required to successfully do this role.
This is one superb role where you truly take full responsibility for financial and staffing of Operational Management and Service delivery.

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate a high competence in the areas of Operations and Data Centre Management , have experience of Service Delivery (using the ITIL frame work) Team Management, Financial Control and be able to demonstrate previous experience of achieving SLA’s & OLA’s as required.
