In Pictures: NASA Space Shuttles retire by sea/land
NASA Shuttle Enterprise makes way to Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum
This past weekend was a busy one for the Space Shuttle Enterprise and the Shuttle replica Explorer as they both made their way by land and sea to their final museum homes. As with any shuttle activities, these were big events in New York and Houston respectively as the pictures reflect. The shuttles join Discovery, which was sent to Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum's Udvar-Hazy Center in April and Atlantis in their new retirement locales. Have a look.
