  Reckon maintains profit growth

  The improved performance of local business and professional divisions has helped Australian accounting software firm, Reckon (ASX:RKN), record a net profit after tax of $9.3 million, up five per cent year-on-year, for the half year to 30 June 2011.

  Data#3 forecasts revenue of $697m for 2010-11

  ICT company Data#3 (ASX:DTL) has forecasted profits for the financial year ending 30 June 2011 to exceed previous guidance, with total revenue pegged to climb to $697 million.

• Motorola reports a small Q4 profit, held back by phone sales

  Motorola's fourth-quarter sales fell 20 percent year-on-year, but the company still made out a small profit, unhampered by the exceptional charges that plunged it into loss a year ago, it reported Thursday. It expects to make a loss in the first quarter, however.
