Mitsubishi Electric has debuted its Leo series projectors that promise better colour accuracy and faster setup.
The Leo series includes three new models, the XD500U, XD510U, and the XD520U. Each features a 6-segment colour wheel design developed to enhance the colour spectrum.
According to Mitsubishi, the projectors automatically adjust themselves to optimize brightness and colour and they can be used in ambient light.
The XD500U has a brightness of 2200 Lumens, the XD510U is 2600 Lumens and the XD520U is 3000 Lumens.
Mitsubishi Electric Australia director Thomas Seeto said the Leo series projectors render images in new standards of colour richness, accuracy and quality.
"Together with long-life performance, these projectors set new benchmarks for portable projectors in Australia," Seeto said.
Other features include a long-life lamp of up to 4000 hours in the XD510U, a low-noise operation level in the XD500U, filter free designs for less maintenance, instant shutdown, and newly designed casing with centered lens.
The new Leo series of projectors are available from AV resellers at a price of $1599 for the XD500U, $1899 for the XD510U, and $2199 for the XD520U.
