<p>SYDNEY, Australia – 3 April 2009 – Verizon Business announced today it has achieved Multinational Certification from Cisco in Asia-Pacific, having met the equipment maker’s rigorous standards for networking competency, service, support and customer satisfaction. The certification further enhances Verizon Business’ ability to deliver holistic and innovative solutions to its customers across the Asia-Pacific region.</p>
<p>Verizon Business is one of only a select group of companies to achieve the pan-Asia-Pacific Cisco certification. <p>As part of attaining the Cisco Multinational Certification, Verizon Business has met the requirements for attaining the broadest range of expertise in four key specialisations: unified communications, routing and switching, security, and wireless LAN. In addition, Verizon Business has integrated Cisco Lifecycle Services into its offerings, and is required to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Cisco Gold Certification provides Verizon Business with access to comprehensive sales, technical, and lifecycle services training and support available from Cisco.</p>
<p>The Cisco Resale Channel Program provides partners with training and support, but also validates their skills through a third-party audit. Cisco partner certifications denote that a partner has an increasing breadth of skills across key technologies and the ability to deliver integrated networking solutions. Partners must achieve three Gold Certifications and one Silver Certification across Asia-Pacific to become Multinational Certified across the region.</p>
<p>Verizon Business is also Cisco Gold Certified in the US and last year achieved Multinational Certification from Cisco in Europe.</p>
