<p>Aviva Australia Holdings Limited (Aviva) today confirmed the successful enterprise-wide implementation of DST Global Solutions’ AWD business process management (BPM) solution. Aviva had previously utilized AWD on a business unit level and will now extend the solution to the rest of its enterprise to assist with the automation of processes and help create an advanced technology services environment for its own customer base.</p>
<p>Traditionally in use within the Aviva Call Centre and new business, claims and underwriting business divisions, AWD will now be included in all areas of the business. With its focus on helping companies to complete administrative tasks effectively and on time, the use of AWD company-wide will assist Aviva in the delivery of services within an agreed set of key performance indicators.</p>
<p>Doug Smith, Commercial Information Technology Manager for Aviva, said, "Aviva will now be able to leverage the very latest AWD BPM application and supply our client base with the latest technology and superior services. The AWD architecture fits clearly into our business model and will help us to make better use of our existing investments, as well as adding to the architecture without major upheaval to the business."</p>
<p>Mr Smith continued, "The new AWD browser-based solution enables Aviva to introduce the latest technologies to the existing business, allowing larger scope for strategic movement and product offerings. It also offers our Information Technology (IT) staff more flexibility to implement business solutions into an already proven, stable environment."</p>
