The Tasmanian Government has extended its whole of government ICT hardware panel for two years and is seeking to add additional suppliers to the arrangement which commenced in April 2009.
The panel — estimated to be worth more than $17 million annually in sales value —covers a range of information, communication and technology hardware and support services primarily for use by Tasmanian Government Agencies but is also available to government business enterprises, statutory authorities, state-owned companies, and local government.
Specific equipment includes Microsoft Windows compatible thin clients, laptops and tablet computers; PC hardware, stand alone printers, and Windows, Linux and Sun servers and storage.
The panel will run until 30 April 2013, with one additional option to extend for a further two years.
