LinkedIn is set to launch a job application tool, with the social networking site for professionals in negotiations with a number of companies looking to hire.
In an article from US news site GigaOM, it was reported that the new feature will allow people with a LinkedIn profile to also use this as an online resume.

The “Apply with LinkedIn” feature will appear on company websites, with job seekers able to apply by clicking on a link that will take them to a LinkedIn interface.
The feature is the latest from the site, which earlier this year launched its Signal and Today features in an attempt to build on the success of Twitter with customised news feeds.
LinkedIn also made its debut on Wall Street earlier this month, with its shares doubling in value on the first day of trading.
