ANZ Bank releases Transactive Android app

Corporate customers will be able to monitor real-time account balances, approve payments

ANZ Banking Group has developed an Android version of its free Transactive app which allows corporate customers to view real-time account balances and current transactions.

People can also use the app to approve payments and obtain foreign exchange rates. Transactive can be downloaded from the Google Play store.

According to ANZ's global head of channels and platforms for transaction banking, Anne Collard, it “made sense” to extend the app to Android users.

“We’ve worked closely with our customers to develop an app that provides even greater visibility and control of their cash management activities,” she said in a statement.

“Our corporate customers are embracing mobile technology in every aspect of their lives and they are demanding the same technologies in their work environments.”

Transactive was launched in 2012 for iPhones and iPads.

In September last year, the bank released an Android version of its free goMoney app, which enables customers to securely transfer funds between friends and businesses using their mobile phone details.
