Satyam Computer Services, the Indian IT consulting firm, today announced plans to build a new 25 acre state-of-the-art campus in Geelong, Victoria. The Victorian Premier, John Brumby, along with Satyam’s CEO Rama Raju, inaugurated the campus plan this afternoon at Deakin University.
The campus will be Satyam’s largest outside India and will be a reflection of the company’s headquarters in Hyderabad. A site for learning as well as commercial work, it will recruit over 2000 employees over the next few years. A range of collaborative initiatives with Deakin University have also been announced to source talent for this campus.
