Connector Systems and 2X Software sign distribution agreement, making the move to cloud computing simple and affordable for resellers in Australia and New Zealand

2X Software, a global leader in virtual desktop and application delivery, remote access and corporate mobility, today signed a distribution agreement covering the A/NZ Markets with Value Added Distributor, Connector Systems.

Andrew Craze, Connector Systems Country Manager (Australia), said: “The 2X Software offering fits perfectly with our solution portfolio, particularly our VDI/Thin Client Business Unit. 2X Software is the number one alternative to Citrix. The 2X ApplicationServer XG platform offers enterprise-rich functionality at a fraction of the cost of the usual offerings.” “Not only does 2X Software develop innovative products such as 2XOS for converting desktop PCs into thin clients, they create solutions, such as 2XLifeCyclePlus, designed to prolong the life of legacy Windows XP PCs. These are real solutions borne out of real business needs, and exactly what we like to offer our reseller partners – something unique, a real point of difference.” “We’re delighted to be working with 2X Software. From our very first conversations, the 2X Software team impressed us with their passion and well-defined plan for the A/NZ market,” continued Craze. Simonetta Mercieca, 2X Software Sales Director (APAC), said: “Our partnership with Connector Systems is a key building block to expanding the availability of cloud solutions and application delivery products to resellers in Australia and New Zealand. The portfolio and the knowledge in virtualisation carried by the team at Connector Systems make them a perfect fit for 2X Software. This partnership also helps us expand our reach in the ANZ market, by targeting the right channel partner base in remote application and desktop delivery as well as virtualisation and private cloud computing. “ “In the coming year we will focus on training partners to transfer knowledge and skills that would enable them to win more deals and service more and more customers effectively. We will also be working closely with Connector Systems to expand our channel footprint and run several campaigns to enable channel partners and resellers under our brand. We are certain that with our technology, channel partners will be able to drive more margins and achieve a better return on investment for their time and effort,” continued Mercieca.
