Veritas Appoints Howard Fyffe as Australia & New Zealand Managing Director
Veritas Technologies today announced that Howard Fyffe has joined the company as the managing director for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). In this role, Fyffe will lead a team of dedicated sales, technical and services professionals committed to helping customers unleash the power of their data and deliver more value to their businesses, whilst driving and accelerating business growth.
A 24-year sales veteran, Fyffe is an accomplished executive with 13 years of experience in leadership roles within the enterprise technology space. He joins Veritas from Nutanix, where he was managing director for ANZ. Under Fyffe’s leadership, he transformed Nutanix’s go-to-market strategy to drive focus in the vertical segments, channel partner alignment and was instrumental in closing the largest single order in the region’s history.
Prior to Nutanix, Fyffe spent 11 years at Cisco Systems, first in their New York office as the global sales manager before moving to the Sydney office to lead the company’s architecture services business for the Asia Pacific region.
“Howard brings a wealth of sales leadership experience to Veritas, from building high-performance teams to developing successful go-to-market strategies and driving profitable growth for major technology companies,” said Chris Lin, senior vice president, APJ, Veritas. “I am thrilled to welcome Howard to the team to drive the next phase of our growth in ANZ, to further develop our core assets – people, customers and partners – and create an extraordinary culture, as we continue to fuel our position as the leader in data protection and multi-cloud data management.”
“Enterprise data management has never been more critical for businesses globally, especially in light of growing privacy concerns among our customers and the resulting rise in compliance regulations. Veritas is embarking on an exciting journey to help customers with their digital transformations, and I look forward to steering the ANZ team to accelerate this growth momentum – one that is focused on helping ANZ businesses solve their most complex data management challenges in a multi-cloud world,” said Fyffe.
Fyffe holds an MBA from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in business and economics from Lehigh University.
