FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Sydney, 27 May 2004
The latest issue of ‘Business Trends’, a newsletter produced by Sophos and industry analysts Gartner, highlights Sophos's unique position to protect organisations from the converging threats of viruses and spam.
"In the last year Gartner has published two important Magic Quadrant reports highlighting the key criteria for evaluating anti-virus and anti-spam vendors. In those reports, Sophos is listed in the visionary quadrant in both the anti-virus and anti-spam sectors," said Steve Munford, President of Sophos Inc. "This uniquely positions us in protecting against both elements of the converging spam and virus threat."
The newsletter shows Gartner's Magic Quadrant spam filtering criteria, Sophos's vision of the converging spam and virus security threat, and some practical steps that businesses can take to protect your organisation from viruses, spam, scams and other threats.
