Wavetek Meterman introduces the TMA10 Thermometer/ Anemometer with remote vane for hard-to-reach troubleshooting

Sydney February 6th 2004 - Wavetek Meterman Test Tools, a leading brand of innovative test tools and accessories, debuts the TMA10 Thermometer/Anemometer for the measurement of air velocity and temperature in residential, commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

The Meterman® TRA10 offers several useful functions such as indicating air velocity in feet-per-minute (FPM), air volume, and cubic feet per minute (CFM). Featuring a standard detachable vane and expandable cord, the TMA10 offers additional measurement capability in remote and hard-to-reach ductwork. Suitable for general air velocity and flow measurements, the TMA10 is perfectly designed for heating, ventilation and air conditioning applications including installing and commissioning systems.

A large display on the TMA10 indicates either air velocity or temperature measurements in Celsius or Fahrenheit with a full range of display options. They include: Data Hold, Min, Max, and Average readings from a single point air source. The TMA10 offers a blow-mold plastic to protect the anemometer during transit.

As a data acquisition tool, the TMA10 offers the ability to output readings to a PC with optional DAQ software and a RS232 cable for charting and data analysis. This combination provides the user with a high performance measurement system that is accurate and competitive with units costing much more.
