In pictures: Motorola launches RAZR HD, RAZR M Android phones

Motorola has officially unveiled its RAZR HD and RAZR M smartphones in Australia.

  • Motorola today unveiled the RAZR HD and the RAZR M smartphones in Australia. We go hands-on at the launch event in Sydney.

    Motorola Mobility's managing director for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, Timo Brouwer.

  • Brouwer said the company focused on three key areas for both phones: Speed, power management, and the best of Google.

  • The RAZR HD and the RAZR M are the first phones to come from the Google-Motorola partnership since Google agreed to acquire the company for $12.5 billion back in August 2011.

  • The Motorola RAZR HD has a large 2500mAh battery.

  • In addition to the outside of the handsets, Motorola has also coated the internal components with the splash-guard material.

  • Motorola says it tried to maximise the screen size and battery on the RAZR HD without compromising on physical size.

The Motorola RAZR M (left) will launch sometime in November for $600 outright, or $0 per month on a $60 Everyday Connect plan over 24 months.
